Reading T-1 2124 on display in the Steamtown parking lot. This is one of only four remaining locomotives of its type. These were last used on the famous Reading Rambles in the 1960's.

We walked along the Erie tracks yesterday, this is the big cut at about mile 14.5.

We caught this view of Steamtown on Saturday. The Scranton Limited is running backwards, and the trolley is waiting to begin its run to Moosic.

On Sunday we say this monkey playing with a teddy bear at the Nay Aug Zoo, which is now known as the Genesis Wildlife Center.

This small lunch counter is one of the best places for lunch in Carbondale. Located on Salem Avenue, between Main and Church Streets, it's been serving Carbondale since 1927. They have the best hamburgs in here. Their Texas Weiners are pretty good as well.

Laurel Line: Connell Junction


The trolley passes us on it's way back into town. Soon it will pass St. Mary's Cemetery, and make it's run through the Crown Avenue tunnel. The area along the right side of the tracks was once a second track for the Laurel Line.
