Last week on our hike we spotted a number of these small salamanders. They seemed to be concentrated in the area roughly halfway between the Erie Railroad, and the Number 5 Dam.

Looking west along the former trackbed of the Lackawanna Iron & Steel Company Railroad. The Interstate 81 Cemetery Bridges are in the process of being replaced. The former railroad right-of-way has been widened for construction equipment.
