Fats Domino

I only recall seeing Fats Domino once, at the RKO Palace the week of November 1 - 6, 1977. I'm pretty sure I was at the Saturday night show, between songs some idiot in the balcony kept shouting " My Blue Heaven...My Blue Heaven." Finally Fats looked up and said "Hey Man, Don't ya wanna hear me play?,,,I'll get to it." The comment amused the crowd, and silenced the heckler.

Abandoned Pennsylvania Route 61

An abandoned stretch of Pennsylvania Route 61 near Centralia, from last month. Unfortunately much of the roadway is covered in graffiti, as is almost any flat surface in the nearby town of Centralia.
