Philadelphia & Western 46, built by the St. Louis Car Company in 1907, retired by SEPTA in the early 1970's. At the Electric City Trolley Museum last month.

Playhouse Square

We stopped by last week, much thanks to Ruth Flannery, Barb Mazzone, Tom Rathburn, Tom Einhouse, Megan Anderson, and John from maintenance, a good day spent with old memories.

Terminal Tower

Cleveland's Terminal Tower last week. I miss the days when I could ride from here to Scranton by train, CUT was on the lower level of this building, about nine hours from here to there, and you could get breakfast/dinner before you detrained.

Scranton Mansion

Scranton Iron Furnaces

The Scranton Iron Furnaces last week. Looks like they're working on replacing the fence that got ripped out by Roaring Brook in August's high water event.

Hippodrome Theatre: Sarah Bernhardt

100 years ago last week, Sarah Bernhardt gave her farewell concerts in North America. The final shows were at Keith's Hipp in Cleveland.

Commodore Theatre Robbery

On the evening of Saturday, October 15, 1927 a gunman robbed the Commodore Theatre at 152nd & Lakeshore Boulevard, he didn't get too far before he was killed by a policeman.
