Early Settlers
Log cabin built in 1976 on the banks of the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland's Flats last fall. When Moses Cleaveland arrived, July 22, 1796, with his team of surveyors this area was mostly swamp. Today it's filled with all sorts of buildings, both commercial and residential.

Lake Linden
For years this huge pool of water has been on Linden Street, at Schultz Court. It grows in size, and shrinks occasionally due to lack of rain, it freezes in the winter, but it is always here. About a dozen years ago the city installed a drain, on the opposite side of the intersection, aka, the side the doesn't flood. So day after day, this pool of water sits here.

Quint's Army - Navy
Quints Army/Navy store on Lackawanna Avenue, July 2009. Most cities try and preserve buildings like this, but in Scranton they get razed for an unneeded car-park.
