Another reminder, the Lackawanna Avenue clock is still a couple hours off. Maybe it'll get fixed next year, maybe next decade, no one knows, and apparently no one in the city cares.

Electric Mindshaft
We always liked to stop by the Mindshaft before Christmas, always got some good records in here. 227 Lackawanna Avenue, surprised the property hasn't been snapped up by now.

Pedestrians
Pedestrians will need to be extra cautious this winter. Looks like Clueless Cognetti's is now having DPW plow snow onto the crosswalks at the street corners. As seen here in downtown Scranton. This is in addition to the traditional plowing of snow onto bridge sidewalks, as seen here on the Harrison Avenue Bridge on Sunday. There's also supposed to be bicycle lanes on the bridge, but they're covered as well. The city has been totally unresponsive to this issue for years, Connors, Cognetti administrations, doesn't matter. all the same, unresponsive and rude to boot. And we all know how busy DPW has been in the last month, skipping garbage pick-ups for several weeks. They literally skipped half our block multiple times, but I bet our "elected" officials have no such problems.

Electric City Trolley
Had hoped to catch the trolley at the tunnel this year, no such luck as the remaining trips were cancelled abruptly, by order of the governor. Instead here's a few from 2012 of Philadelphia Suburban 76 at the south end of Laurel Line Tunnel.

NKP 514 behind Lackawanna Station, November 2010. There's a real lack of Christmas trains this year.
Storywood Boutique
Storywood Boutique, 2440 Euclid Avenue, in the old Sartorium space, the building, across the street from Fenn Tower on the Cleveland State University campus also housed the Down Under bar, and the Music Grotto record store. The name changed to Smoker's Warehouse sometime in 1975. This store closed in October 1976, and the contents moved to the Storywood store on 9th Street. The 9th Street location was somewhat notorious for some of the unsavory characters that frequented the shop.
