On August 24th 1951, 10 year old, Beverly Potts disappeared after attending a Cleveland Press Showmobile performance at Halloran Park, near West 117th & Linnet. After a massive search no sign of her was ever found. Over the years leads would occasionally pop up, but they were always dead ends.
Below, Plain Dealer file photos.
Above, Plain Dealer editorial, after another false lead, March 10, 1994.
I was born one month b4 Beverly and never forgot about her; she,d be 75 now. Last night (6-14-16) I attended lecture/dicussion abt her at Fairview library. It was well attended as people still remember.
