WNEP Train

A look at the WNEP-TV Train at the Trolley Museum yesterday. This was used for a gag on some late night TV show a few weeks ago. The host used it to make fun of Scrantonians, then gave a local TV station the opportunity to come get it. It's basically a simple layout, three lops of track, built up on a Styrofoam base. It's not quite "irresponsibly large" as portrayed on the news. The Miniature Memories layout in the Steamtown Mall is larger and much better than this one. Hopefully that will be up and running again soon. Although that is a real layout, not part of a TV set.
