Otis Redding along with five members of the Bar-Kays were killed in a plane crash 50 years ago today. His last show was at Cleveland's Leo's Casino at 7500 Euclid Avenue on Saturday, December 9 where he did three shows. Earlier that day he taped his last last television appearance on WEWS Upbeat! show along with the Bar-Kays. Ben Cauley was the only one to survive the crash, he would go on to reform the Bar-Kays.
