Along the banks of Roaring Brook is a long abandoned powerhouse from the Scranton Gas & Water Company. It looks like it was built in 1910, and abandoned at a later date, possibly following the flood of 1955. The small town of Nay Aug was nearby, further up on the hillside are the tracks of the Lackawanna Railroad.

Nice pictures. A lot of history is buried in that area. I grew up in Scranton but my 'archaeology' was on the west side of the city.
