A historic wooden combine of unknown origin rotting away at Steamtown.This car doesn't seem to appear on Steamtown's equipment roster, but it's been there deteriorating for years.

Electric City Trolley

Philadelphia Suburban 80 southbound at Cedar Avenue last Saturday morning. East Troy Electric 64 was also spotted at the nearby trolley barn.
Excursions continue through the end of October, running Thursday through Sunday at 10:30 AM, 12:00 Noon, 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM through the end of October.

Olyphant: Twin Bridges

The twin D&H bridges at Olyphant. Once a busy Penn Division mainline now has only one active track. The first of the spans was erected in 1904, the other in 1906. All views are looking south.

Petersburg Memorial Cemetery

The Petersburg Memorial Cemetery at 962 Paul Avenue in Scranton was established in 1853 and hasn't been used in decades. The cemetery is poorly maintained and is mostly overgrown, although the wrought iron fence has been repaired since our last visit a year ago.
