The Lackawanna Station at Alford Pennsylvania (MP 166) was constructed 1911-1912. The adjacent tower was built around the same time and was used until 1938 when the Montrose Branch was abandoned. Today the station is in serious disrepair, the tower is in better shape. Photos from yesterday morning, I wish the light was a bit better.
The station when it was new, from Sheldon S. King, The Route of Phoebe Snow.
