Chicago: Belmont Theatre

The 3,200 seat Belmont Theatre at 1635 W. Belmont Avenue was built by the local Lubliner & Trinz circuit and opened in 1925. The architect W.W. Allen Theatre

An example of proper lighting from Box Office Magazine, September 4, 1954. I remember selling tix in that BO, changing posters in the cases, letters on the marquee. In the winter the letters would freeze in the tracks, I'd bang them loose with a T. Every so often we'd hose the front down.
