A few scenes from this morning's fire in the 500 block of Stafford Avenue in South Scranton.

Old Pumping Station

The old Spring Brook Water Company pumping station in West Pittston. This is located nest to the Lackawanna's Bloomsburg Branch bridge.

A few views of Pittston Jct from a few weeks ago. This was once used by the Lehigh Valley and Lackawanna railroads. Today it's used by the Reading & Northern and the Lehigh & Susquehanna.

Electric City Trolley

Philadelphia Suburban 76 at Connell Junction on Monday morning.. Excursions continue through the end of October, running Thursday through Sunday at 10:30 AM, 12:00 Noon, 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM through the end of October.

Meadow Brook Crushed Stone Co.

A few photos of the abandoned Meadow Brook Crushed Stone Company site near Connell Junction in South Scranton.  The company produced railroad ballast and has been closed since at least 1930. Today all that remains are the concrete "Rock Crusher," a pond, and a gouged out cliff.

La Festa Italiana 2014

A few views of  the 49th annual La Festa Italiana on Saturday afternoon.  This event always draws big crowds to Scranton's Courthouse Square over the Labor Day weekend.
