Playhouse Square
A few views of Playhouse Square from last month. Quite the fun time we had revisiting a few of the more exotic spots inside, those will have to wait for another day.
This one's a bit blurry, back in 1972, I don't know how many times I heard that no one is ever going to go down there for shows anymore. Clearly that wasn't true, although we all knew the opposite, it was hard trying to convince the rest of the city that Ray knew what he was talking about.
On the left construction has just started on "The Lumen" a new 34 story apartment building. Not only do people want to come down here, a lot of people want to live here as well.

SEPTA 206
SEPTA 206 was built by Brill as Philadelphia & Western 206 in 1931. This "bullet" car was later converted to brine use, and was ultimately retired in 1995. It is currently sitting outside the Electric City Trolley Museum in Scranton. These views are from a couple weeks ago.

MacArthur Park
In the midst of a chaotic week, Richard Harris had a major hit, MacArthur Park. That week Harris was outside Hazleton, making a motion picture.
