A Sad Little Tale

On the Evening of Sunday, January 13, 1935 a matron in one of the RKO Palace ladies rooms discovered a newborn baby boy in the trash. Unfortunately the baby died in City Hospital early the following Tuesday. Funeral arrangements were paid for by the Variety Club, pallbearers were a who's who of Cleveland's motion picture exhibitors. Baby Boy Doe was interred at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.  None of the articles specified if this sad episode occurred on  the main floor or mezzanine Ladies Room.
