I don't think they are power line bases since along that section of the Erie there are four sets of them. We also found a similar set along the old Laurel Line between Montage Mtn Rd and the former Rocky Glen. I have also seen these along side other abandoned lines. They appear to be more like the bases of loading platforms. I have yet to find an old photo showing exactly what they are.
