Scranton's New Park

For the last three Saturdays, we've been trying to get some decent photos of the construction of the new park in Downtown Scranton. At least it wasn't raining this past Saturday, but it was quite overcast.

This park is somewhat similar to the New York Central Railroad's High Line Park in Manhattan. This is along what was the approach to Lackawanna Station in Scranton. The park is behind the buildings along the 500 block of Lackawanna Avenue. This view is looking west, the Steamtown mall Garage is in the distance. Word on the street is that sod will be laid here later this week.
