Yesterday Baldwin Locomotive Works 26 had it's first run in over 15 years. The bright sunny day brought out a small crowd of onlookers. This locomotive was built by Baldwin in March 1929 and was used by Baldwin as a switcher at their Eddystone Plant for a number of years. Later it was sold to Jackson Iron & Steel in Ohio where it performed a similar task. It was sold to a private collector in 1979, and would pass through several hands before being acquired by Steamtown in 1990.
