An Amusing Tale

A long forgotten story from Playhouse Square.

Vaughn de Leath, the "Original Radio Girl," from Radio Revue, January 1930. Miss de Leath was in town doing a radio show on WTAM, sponsored by Hanna Mining, that had started a week earlier. Miss de Leath had a string of hits in the 20's, including: I'm Just Wild About Harry, Blue Skies, Ukulele Lady, and Are You Lonesome Tonight.
