 UP 4014 crossing the Nickel Plate Viaduct over the Cuyahoga River, milepost 184.5 on Monday afternoon, heading towards Buffalo, Scranton and Philadelphia.

Rocky River Station

 The Nickel Plate Rocky River station, 19060 Depot Street, built in 1882 and currently used by Norfolk Southern's Communications Department. Union Pacific 4014 is scheduled to pass by here on June 8th, and stop here for half-an-hour on July 13th, sure to be very crowded.

Thoreau Place

 New townhouses with a great view of the NKP under construction. Too bad they won't be done in time for UP 4014's passage next month. These would be great railfan homes, only $480,000 quite the bargain.

 Almost caught an eastbound freight a couple weeks ago, but alas that wasn't to be. Don't see trains as often as I did in Scranton, really miss that.
