Below the Erie tracks, pipeline work has commenced along the Lackawanna Iron & Steel Co. Railroad, which was abandoned in the 1870's. This right-of-way once led from the ore mines behind Moosic Mountain, down to the Iron Furnaces along Roaring Brook.
