Laurel Line 1951


The following is from Railroad Magazine, March 1951, pages 81-90. Steven Maguire was the longtime Transit Topics columnist for Railroad, and a noted juice fan.

Frank, Was the Petersburg station the northern end of the Dunmore branch? Was that near the Mill St. bridge under I-81?

The Petersburg station was near Matthew and Myrtle Street. The end of the Dunmore Branch was near Roaring Brook, under Crane Viaduct.
