Nay Aug Falls

An undated postcard of Nay Aug Falls.
In case anyone was wondering what happened to the weekly falls photo: On November 9, I was knocked down in the park by a large dog. This incident triggered some major back problems which have necessitated back surgery. Hopefully once we clear that hurdle with the disability people the surgery will happen soon. I'm hoping the recovery period is relatively short so I can get back outside.  These last eight weeks have been a living hell for me and my wife, especially coming during the holidays, No Christmas for us, no tree, trains, etc. It would have been nice to get an apology from the lady with the dog, but she was long gone by the time I was able to regain my footing.

Update: Had the surgery on January 13, home recovering, hope to be out and about soon.

So sorry to hear Frank! I did notice you hadn't been posting much lately on FB. Tom and I are always leery of dogs - for this reason! People will say - oh, the dog is friendly. We don't care what they say, we like to stay a safe distance from any unfamiliar dog - or animals for that reason. Except cats...but even they can get testy. So sorry though to hear of your fall and surgery. That so sucks!!! Get better soon. Denise and Tom
