Labor Day

 Nothing says Labor Day more than cut rate cameras.

Another Cleveland tradition, Beginning as the National Air Races, and later continuing as an air show. Amelia Earhart not only was a participant for a number of years, she also had a trophy named after her. From the Plain Dealer, September 1, 1935. 

The end of the air races came in 1949. Plain Dealer, September 6, 1949. In 1964 the new air show restarted the annual Labor Day tradition.
