Wilkes-Barre: United States Motion Picture Corporation

The United States Motion Picture Corporation was in existence between 1916 and 1919, they made 27 Black Diamond comedies which were released through Paramount. Later they made Unique Comedies and Rainbow Comedies. Their main offices were in the Savoy Theatre building in downtown Wilkes-Barre and had a studio in Forty Fort. The treasurer Daniel Hart was later mayor of Wilkes-Barre.
