Bruce Springsteen

45 years ago tonight, Sunday, August 10, 1975, Bruce Springsteen made his second Allen Theatre appearance. This show was broadcast live on WMMS-FM, bootlegs can be easily found. Next door, Irish Rascal and Coca-Cola were on the boards in the State.

Fortunately I was not at this, I was probably the only person in Cleveland who couldn't stand Bruce Springsteen. I wasn't so fortunate the next time around, Wednesday and Thursday, April 7-8, 1976. I had a girlfriend who wanted to see him, so I pretty much had to go, I think we went the first night, it was insufferably long.
