A view of Gravity Park in Carbondale. This is the monument to the D&H Gravity RR which was dedicated in 1928 on the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Delaware & Hudson gravity road to Honesdale, and the opening of the D&H canal to Kingston NY. The D&H was the first million dollar corporation in the United States. The park has recently been cleaned up with new walkways and fencing.
