On our hike down the Jersey Central last week, we were able to get this view of the Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad shop on Scranton's South side. This was taken from an area atop a culm bank west of the Lackawanna River. Behind the shops is Scranton's south side, and most prominently St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Pittston Avenue.
