On our visit to Pittston, we stopped by the Riverfront Park. At a point near the Water Street Bridge is this remnant of the Lehigh Valley passenger station. Not much left, just a portion of a stone archway from the lower level. Once upon a time the main LV trains ran through here, The Black Diamond Express and the John Wilkes. The last LV passenger trains ran in February 1961.
