B.F. Keith Theatres

I should have had this last week, The grand opening of Keith's 105th, with Babe Ruth at the downtown Hipp. Once Albee decided on a new downtown house, the Hipp name was dropped from Keith ads. When the Keith lease on the Hipp expired on June 30, 1922, there was no Keith house downtown until the Palace opened on November 6. By the way, Bambino was a BO flop. From the Plain Dealer, November 20, 1921.
