Loew's State: JB-2 Robot Bomb Display

In late July 1945 an American made JB-2 robot bomb was displayed in the Grand Lobby of Loew's State Theatre in Cleveland. These robot bombs were modeled after the German V-1 and V-2 "buzz bombs." At this time it appears Loew's was trying to find a way to better utilize the mammoth lobby of the State. This article appears in the August 4, 1945 issue of Box Office.
