The Chiellino Building in Carbondale was constructed by Salvador & Antonio Chiellino at 63 River Street in 1913. The building is in serious disrepair and continues to deteriorate.
The back of the building is along the Lackawanna River.

On August 24th 1951, 10 year old, Beverly Potts disappeared after attending a Cleveland Press Showmobile performance at Halloran Park, near West 117th & Linnet. After a massive search no sign of her was ever found. Over the years leads would occasionally pop up, but they were always dead ends.
