Jim Brown
Last week's passing of Jim Brown was quite the shock. He was a larger-than-life character when I was a kid, his autobio Out of Bounds was outstanding. He had quite the film career, with Three the Hard Way being a particular favorite.

Fire Museum
A few views from the Fire Museum, 310 Carnegie Avenue last week, really neat museum, with displays, artifacts and a safety display. This is well worth a visit, and displays change regularly, so a repeat visit is in the works.
