New Bus Station
Construction has started on the new bus station on Lackawanna Avenue. The project will replace the Martz Bus station across the street with one that will serve both intercity buses and local buses. With the recent announcement of massive service cuts on the local system, one wonders if this project is really needed. This is also a rather odd place to terminate local buses since the heart of downtown is several blocks away.
