Number 5 Plane
At the ruins of the Number 5 Plane on East Mountain on Saturday morning.
The Pennsylvania Coal Company Railroad ran between Port Griffith and Hawley, and was in operation between 1840 and 1885.
Loaded cars passed through here, on the way to Number 6, Dunmore.

Lackawanna Station
A 1950's view of Lackawanna Station in Scranton. Those baggage carts on the right appear to be pretty well loaded.
Sterling Hotels System
A Sterling Hotels inkblotter from the early 1950's. I believe only the Montrose Inn is still in operation as a hotel. The Jermym was renovated into apartments, the Sterling is on the verge of being razed, and the Arlington was razed years ago.
