Was able to grab a few views of the ongoing renovation at the Steamtown Mall foodcourt the other day. Work seems to be progressing slowly on the new market they plan on having in this space.

Lackawanna Milk Car
One of the few remaining Lackawanna milk cars. This one is rotting away at Steamtown. Everytime we see it, it looks a little worse.

We stopped by Embassy Vinyl at 352 Adams Avenue yesterday for Record Store Day. Always worth a visit.

Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris
44 years ago today Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris opened in the Playhouse Square Cabaret, which was in the lobby of Loew's State Theatre. We hoped the show would run for 3-4 weeks, it ran for over two years. Later it became known as "the show that saved the theatres."
The cast (l-r) David O. Frazier, Providence Hollander, musical director David Gooding,Terry Piteo and Cliff Bemis.
