Trains in the Valley

 We've been watching videos from the Trains in the Valley couple for the last few years, but we wanted to wait until the big relocation to purchase anything. We recently purchased several items and we're beyond happy with them. They ship pretty quickly and enclose a nice little note with each order. Check them out, you won't regret it.

CTS 109

 Cleveland Transit System 109 at the Northern Ohio Railway Museum, this was one of the original cars on the line.

Shaker Heights Rapid Transit 92

 SHRT 92 at the entrance to the Northern Ohio Railway Museum. I rode these PCC cars numerous times; the Missus was lucky enough to get to ride these to school.

 Cleveland Transit System 161 at the Northern Ohio Railway Museum. These were the 'Airporter" cars purchased when the Rapid Transit line was extended to the airport in 1967.

 We were at Corleone's Ristorante & Bar, 5669 Broadview Road, Parma, the other evening for a class get-together. This is a nice little spot, with an enclosed outdoor patio, perfect for a cool September evening.

 Visible Voice Books, 2258 Professor Avenue, a neat little bookstore, there's a cafe on the first floor, but it doesn't open until 4, so maybe next time.

Depot Train & Hobby

 We stopped by Depot Train & Hobby, 4342 West 130th Street on Saturday. Great array of trains and supplies down in the basement. Cars and ships on the first floor, a really neat place in an unusual setting, the house the store is in is pretty innocuous, so you have to keep your eyes peeled, it's also across from the Broken Wheel, sort of a local landmark. Not many of these places left, so go out and support your local hobby store.

Aladdin's Eatery

 We stopped by Aladdin's Eatery, 14536 Detroit Avenue the other day, a great spot for lunch or dinner.
